The 13th Turkish-Arab Economic Cooperation Summit, which included the 6th Food and food Technologies expo, 4th Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies, 3rd Hotel Equipment, Restaurants and Cafes expo, was attended by about 1500 Arab businessmen from 20 Arab countries in addition to more than 200 Turkish companies which offered various food and agricultural products, machinery and technology of the food, agricultural and livestock industries.
We seek to increase the field of exchange trade between Turkish and Arab companies:
The chairman of the Turkish-Arab Countries Business Association, Mr. Sabuhi Attar drew attention to the importance of the forum. “Through the forum, we try to provide Turkish food and agricultural products to the Arab market in a better and more direct way. Food imports in the Arab countries are not less than 80%, we are happy to see a number of bilateral partnerships between Turkish and Arab companies. Through the forum, we see that the exchange of trade and volume of trade between the Arab and Turkish countries is growing and will continue to increase.”

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul, Mr. Şekib Avdagiç stressed about the importance of trade for both Arab countries and Turkey: “Through these events we find the opportunity to provide technological superiority, production’s capacity and the ability to sell high quality products that Turkey offers at reasonable prices to our friends and brothers investors from different countries. Thus, we are interested in these forums and hope that the field of our trade with the Arab countries reaches a better level.”
